Material Handler

MSI, a progressive and fast growing LEAN manufacturing company in Morrisville, VT has immediate openings for Material Handlers to join our growing team.
We are looking for proven self-starters that can work as part of a fast moving, growing team. These individuals must have exceptional communication skills and love to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Material Handlers are required to help facilitate the moving of products within the warehouse to the production floor in a safe and timely manner.

• Inspecting equipment before each use

• Attending forklift training and certification refresher courses
• Constantly being aware of their surroundings
• Operating their equipment safely at all times
• Reading orders and stock labels and locating inventory promptly
• Supports warehouse duties

Accounting Specialist Position is Open

Manufacturing Solutions Inc., a Vermont based, progressive company is looking for an organized and highly professional individual to join our team. As an Accounting Specialist you must have the ability to work independently, with initiative, multitask and prioritize work assignments while managing your time.

You will be required to:

• Complete a detailed weekly and monthly client billing
• Record daily receivables
• Process payables accurately and within a timely manner
• Create and post general journal entries as needed
• Assist in the month end closing process
• Complete various research projects upon request
• Support administrative staff
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:

• Minimum 2-year accounting degree or high school diploma or GED with 5 years of experience in accounting
• Knowledge of a Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and General Ledger
• Demonstrate the ability to identify and resolve issues.
• Demonstrate responsiveness to internal and external clients
• Ability to work independently, with initiative, multitask and prioritize work assignments and manage time
• Ability to work with staff members in a cooperative, problem-solving manner
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of computer-based accounting systems and financial programs

Maintenance Technician

Department Manager

$50,000 - $80,000 annual pay based on experience

Daily duties of Department Managers include managing production staff, providing summary data, creating and analyzing productivity and labor graphs, overtime reports, department budget goals, making changes as needed to meet metrics and being responsible for the safety of all members of the department. The Department Manager will lead the profit and loss review and planning (PDCA) for cost control, staff scheduling and time management, participate in hiring, evaluations, coaching, and staff development plans, make improvement or repair requests to the process team, effectively identify the need for a PDCA, assemble appropriate team for PDCA, and lead, drive and participate in the PDCA process.

Required skills include being results oriented, self-motivated, have strong problem solving skills with an attention to detail, dependability, and quality oriented.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Five years or more experience in a manufacturing management role, overseeing teams of 50 or more employees on a consistent basis;
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing procedures.
• Proven ability to motivate, lead and relate to a diverse work force.
• Pro-active team leader with excellent communication skills, being solution-oriented and accountable.
